Motion for Interpleader Deposit (28 U.S.C. Section 1335)

  1. Click Bankruptcy or Adversary Menu
  2. Click Motions/Applications
  3. Enter the bankruptcy case number, or adversary proceeding number.

    **When following the steps below, click the Next button to navigate to the next screen.

  4. Select Interpleader Deposit (28 U.S.C. Section 1335) (Motion) from the event list.
  5. At the Select the Party screen, select the party you represent. If the party is not listed, click on Add/Create New Party.
  6. The attorney association screen will appear if the attorney/party association does not yet exist. The check box is preselected.
  7. The screen "Does the movant have an interest in the deposit?"displays.
    • Select Yes or No.
    • If Yes is selected, click Next.
      • The screen "STOP! Return to the menu and select the event Deposit Funds into Court Registry (Motion) displays.
      • If No is selected, click Next.
  8. Browse, verify and attach the document.
  9. Enter the Dollar Amount to be Deposited.
  10. Docket Text:Modify as Appropriate.
  11. Review final docket text.
