Filing in Multiple Cases
If filing a motion in multiple cases, contact the Clerk's Office for instructions before filing the motion.
These motions will be handled on a case-by-case basis depending on the number of cases involved.
*Note:If filing in a closed case, the case does not need to be reopened solely to address a request to redact personal identifiers from the case record.
- Click Bankruptcy Menu
- Click Motions/Applications

Enter the case number.
**When following the steps below, click the Next button to navigate to the next screen.
- Select Redact (Motion) (Fee Per Case) from the event list.
- At the Select the Party screen, select the party you represent. If the party is not listed, click on Add/Create New Party.
- The attorney association screen will appear if the attorney/party association does not yet exist. The check box is preselected.
- Browse, verify, and attach the document. Document Images will be Restricted From Public View.
- Fee Screen appears.
- On the screen "Is this a motion to redact a proof of claim?" select Yes or No.
- If Yes, Select the Claim from the list.
- If No, Select the category to which your event relates.
- Select the docket entry to redact.
- Review final docket text
- NEF Displays, along with Summary of current charges.
- Click Pay Now, or Continue Filing to pay later the same day the fee is incurred.
