Location

The Office of the Clerk of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of New Mexico is located in downtown Albuquerque, New Mexico, on the 3rd floor of the Pete V. Domenici United States Courthouse. The building is located on Lomas Blvd between 3rd and 4th Street.

Courtrooms for the United States Bankruptcy Court are located on the 3rd and 5th Floor.

To Enter the Building

All visitors to the Pete V. Domenici U.S. Courthouse are required to present a photo ID at the magnetometer before being admitted to the building. Absolutely no weapons (including knives, sharp or pointed instruments, etc.) are permitted in the building.  Additional requirements relating to COVID are in place.  Check the COVID page or call to learn about current restrictions.

No cameras, cellular telephones with cameras or recording capability, transmitters, receivers or recording equipment may be brought into or used in any courtroom or court environs. Attorneys and jurors who have cellular telephones with cameras are exempt from this prohibition. Laptops and tablets are allowed but only if the camera and recording features are not used.

The main entrance to the building is located on the south side.  Enter the building using the front steps or access the ramps on the west side of the building.

A drop box is available at the main entrance for customers who have pleadings or payments but do not need personal assistance. 

Directions to the Pete V. Domenici United States Courthouse:

From I-25

Take exit 225 (Lomas Blvd) and head west on Lomas Blvd. for 1.1 miles.  The Pete V. Domenici U.S. Courthouse will be on the north side of Lomas Blvd. NW.

Parking

Metered parking is available on the street, and there are several paid parking lots in the area.  The closest parking garage is Metro Park at 801 5th St NW.   There are no ADA accessible parking spots available at the courthouse; however, the metered parking is available free of charge near the courthouse with the use of a handicap placard.
